Kyokushin Budo Karate Shakai  Honbu is pleased to announce that Shihan Francois Khim Gobeil (5th Dan) has been appointed as a Dojo Branch chief of State of Quebec, Canada.
On behalf of the entire Kyokushin Budo Karate Shakai members, welcome to our Kyokushin family. Osu!


Shihan Francois Khim Gobeil started martial arts in Quebec at the age of 7 years old in Yoseikan and Shotokan styles up to Blak belt level. He discovered the Full contact- Karate at the beginning of high school under Hanshi Donald Gaudreault.In 1996 he travelled to the USA to train with Soshu Shigeru Oyama at the USA Oyama Karate New York Honbu Dojo. Later he received black belt at the World Oyama Karate Organization Headquarter in New York under Soshu Shigeru Oyama supervision. 1998, he moved to Toronto, Soshu Oyama gave him the instructor certificate and open his first Dojo. It was the first and only dojo to teach The World Oyama Organization in Ontario. After Soshu retired, His Brother took out Canada from the Oyama Organization. Shihan decided to follow his teacher Hanshi Donald Gaudreault. 2007 he moved back to Québec and opened his second Dojo. During those years, he competed and won many national and international full-contact Tournaments, 2013 Shihan founded his own martial arts school. Shihan travels with his team and the coach of the national and international championships in the USA, Greece, Ireland and many more.

On 9th of October 2019, Shihan Francois Khim-Gobeil appointed as official branch chief of Quebec province, Canada by Saiko Shihan Prasanna Fernando, Kyokushin Budo Karate Shakai International Honbu, United Kingdom.
