Dear Branch chiefs, families, all members and friends

Another year has come to an end, and with our new hopes in Karate, we look forward to the year 2026 with great anticipation. Our main intention here should be to gain health and strength in Kyokushin Karate through our daily training and in the same way to impart the right knowledge to our students. I believe that next year the SBKR Kyokushin Karate Federation will increase its activities at the national and international level, and I urge our branch heads and all members to work hard for this. Our 2026 SBKR Honbu Annual Program has already been sent to all branch chiefs, and I inform you to share it with your members. It is heartening to see that most of our branches are very active. Thus, a clear future will surely be built for the future of their students. I urge everyone to work hard. It is heartening to see the new branches in Poland Brzozow Dojo, Tamil Nadu Arjunan Dojo and Dubai and the branches in Nepal, Moscow and Kolkata showing even greater growth. I greatly appreciate the efforts you all make to achieve the ideals of Kyokushin Karate and wish you all the best, strength, and courage in doing so.

Our 10th All-UK Open Karate Tournament incorporating the first International Cup will be held in Glasgow on April 26th next year, which will mark the 32nd anniversary of the passing of our founder and great grand master, Sosai Masutatsu Oyama, and I would like to take this opportunity to invite you all to join us.

Finally, I wish you, your families, and your students a very happy and prosperous New Year, and may the world be peaceful and prosperous for all.

Osu!

Yours sincerely,

Shihan Prasanna FernandoCEO Founder
