It is with great respect and pleasure that we submit this report on the 3rd Intra-Dojo Tournament 2026, organised by Kyokushin Karate Academy, West Bengal, on 15 August 2026.
The tournament was held on the auspicious occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day, making it a memorable celebration of discipline, unity, martial spirit, and national pride. The event was organised under the leadership of Sensei Bhaskar Mishra, Chief Dojo-in-Charge of Kyokushin Karate Academy, an affiliated dojo of Oyama Fitness Dojo, SBKR Kyokushin West Bengal Branch.
More than 100 participants from dojos across West Bengal took part in the tournament. The competition included both Kata and Kumite categories, and all participants displayed strong determination, discipline, courage, and true Kyokushin spirit.

A special feature of this year’s event was the Veterans Kata Category. Senior students above 40 years of age participated enthusiastically, demonstrating that the spirit of Karate continues throughout life. Their performance, commitment, and fighting spirit served as great inspiration for all junior participants.
The tournament provided a valuable platform for students to test their skills, gain competitive experience, build confidence, and strengthen friendship among the participating dojos. Every student gave their best effort and upheld the values of respect, perseverance, humility, and Osu no Seishin.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Sekai Budo Karate Do Renmei Kyokushin Karate Headquarters, Oyama Fitness Dojo, all respected Sensei, Senpai, participants, parents, supporters, and organisers for their encouragement and contribution to the successful completion of this tournament.
We remain committed to promoting authentic Kyokushin Karate and developing strong, disciplined, and respectful karateka in West Bengal.
