Sekai Budo Karate-do Renmei Kyokushin Karate, United Kingdom successfully hosted the 10th All UK Open Karate Tournament incorporating 1st International Cup on 26th April at the Caledonian University Sports Hall, Glasgow city. In total, we welcomed 58 competitors from 7 countries. We are truly proud and honoured to have hosted you all at this special 10th championship, held on the meaningful occasion of Sosai Masutatsu Oyama’s 32nd death anniversary. Although the number of competitors was smaller this year, the standard of fighting was exceptionally high, with participants demonstrating true Kyokushin spirit throughout the event.
Our sincere thanks go to all the judges, referees, and coaches for their dedication and support on the day. We would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the following organisations for sending their students to participate in our championship:

* So-Kyokushin Denmark
* Chikara Dojo – IKO Nakamura (UK)
* British Kyokushinkai (BKK/IFK), UK
* Kyokushin World Federation (KWF), Edinburgh, UK
* Seishin Kyokushin, Portugal
* IKO Matsushima, UK
* SBKR – The Netherlands, Poland, India, Canada and United Kingdom
* EMAR Richmond, UK

Finally, Our sincere thanks go to our students from SBKR Honbu Dojo for their incredible hard work and dedication as volunteers.
We acknowledge that there were some challenges, but we are fully committed to learning from them and delivering an even better tournament next year. Thank you all for your patience and continued support.
