Day 3: We had our morning session, noon session & evening session.
Day 4: We conducted the kyu belt & dan promotion examination & by the end, we had a campfire & sayonara party.
There were 25 students who appeared for their Kyu & Dan promotion examination. Senpai Aparajita Banerjee appeared for her NIDAN promotion examination, but she could not complete her examination, due to muscle fatigue & she quit to continue with her examination. As an official Instructor of Oyama Fitness Dojo Sensei Prithish Mukherjee along with other instructors would want her to appear for her re-exam next time as she is not yet ready to meet the standards of Nidan. Sensei Prithish believes she is still young to devote herself more to becoming Nidan maybe next year. She was constantly absent for last year and only continued her training this year from January onwards. She requires more time to be invested in training & Dojo. Sensei Prithish requested all other instructors to develop students’ quality from a very basic level so that Shodan & Nidans appear to be of great quality who passed from SBKR.
We had Training sessions mostly based upon KIHON WAZA, and KUMITE WAZA. All Noon trainings were on Tachi movements & Demonstrating Kumite Kata & Kanku Kata. Sensei Narayan Tanti and Sensei Abhishek Chandra from India contributed a lot to teach Kumite training to our students. Sensei Lakmal Coorey & sensei Manjula Prithviraj branch chiefs of Srilanka came as guest Instructors over this camp & also contributed a lot to teaching advanced Kumite Waza, Stamina & strength training to our students.
On the 3rd Day 6th of June, we conducted a general meeting where said Branch chiefs & General Members were present.
