Sensei Souza has been training in martial arts for almost 40 years. His native place is Belo Horizonte MG Brazil. He has been a member of the Kenyu Karate Federation and he started in Kyokushin in 2001 with Shihan Myamoto Luiz a student of Matsui Kancho. Sensei Souza has achieved numerous successes at both regional and national competitions, and he became champion of American full-contact kickboxing champion in 1992 and also spent many years training in Muay Thai. He currently holds the 3d Dan black belt and SBKR branch instructor of the State of Piaui and in the city of Sabara in the State of Minas Gerais. He also qualified armed and unarmed self-defense certified instructor of a defensive and sportive shooting academy and was a member of the SBKR in 2021.
