KBKS Honbu is pleased to inform you that our Kyu and Dan Examination will be held on Saturday,14th August 2021 from 3.00 pm onwards.
Kyu and Dan syllabus includes the following:
Written Examination
Kihon (Basic Strikes, Kicks and Thrusts, Brown Belt applicants must be able to instruct the class in these areas)
Ido Geiko (moving techniques)
Renraku(Combinations)
Sanbon Kumite (three-step fighting drills)
Ippon Kumite (one-step fighting drills)
Goshin Jitsu (self-defense)
Kata (all Kyokushin Kata as per Honbu Japan Instruction).
Kata Bunkai(application)
Tamashiwari (Board braking)
Kumite (proficiency in fighting for the level required – some Tournament experience required)
*ALL grading registrations and payments must be taken care of ten days before the grading.
We are planning to organise a training session for students and instructors the day following the examination. This will be from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm.
Dates and time may be postponed or canceled due to the current situation.
