Kyokushin Budo Karate Shakai Honbu is pleased to announce that Sensei Muhammad Arshad Chohan (3rd Dan)has been appointed as a Sub-branch chief of Punjab, Pakistan.

Introduction:

Born in 1967.
Sensei Muhammad Arshad Chohan (3rd Dan) started Kyokushin Karate in 1984 under the supervision of Shihan Mahmood Ahmad. He awarded Shodan in 1989. Sensei Muhammad Arshad personally met with the Legend of Kyokushinkaikan Sosai Mas Oyama in Colombo Sri Lanka in 1992 at the occasion of the 5th Asian Karate Tournament and he became 4th place in the open weight category.
Awarded Rank of 2nd Dan in 1993 at Multan.

Tournament history:
1st place in District Karate Tournament at Multan in 1985.
1st place in Divisional Karate Tournament at Multan in 1987.
1st place in All Punjab Kyokushin Karate Championship in 1989 at Multan.
1st place in National Kyokushin Karate Championship in 1990 at Multan.
4th place in Asian Kyokushin Karate Championship at Colombo Sri Lanka in 1992.
National Kata Champion in 2004 at Lahore.

Best Performance Certificate in 1994 at Lahore.
National Kyokushin Karate Master Award in 2005 at Lahore.
National Talent Award in 2007 at Lahore.
National Kyokushin Karate Gold Medal Award 1994 at Lahore.
Best Breaking Award at Islamabad in 1997 at Islamabad.
Participate in National Kyokushin Training Camp in 1992 at Multan.
Best Referee Award in National Kyokushin Karate Championship at Bahawalpur in 1998.
Best Referee Award in National Kyokushin Karate Championship at Multan in 2002.
Kyokushin Karate demonstration and Festival in 2008 at Lahore.
National Martial Millennium Award 2010 at Lahore.
Kyokushin Karate Exhibition 2010 at Lahore.

Today he is running a Dojos in Latif Arcade, BCG Chowk Multan.

On the 6th of March 2021, Sensei Muhammad Arshad Chohan appointed as official Sub-branch chief of Multan, Punjab province, Pakistan by Saiko Shihan Prasanna Fernando, Kyokushin Budo Karate Shakai International Honbu, United Kingdom.
