Kyokushin Budo Karate Shakai Honbu is pleased to announce that Sempai Navin Kumar Singh (2nd  Dan) has been appointed as a Dojo Branch chief of West Bengal, India.

Introduction

Sempai Navin Kumar Singh started Karate training in the year of 1998 under a local Karate teacher in the Purulia district after two years he joined Kyokushin Karate under Shihan Shivaji Ganguly. Sempai Singh has been participated in many Tournaments like state level, National level tournaments and he able to secure 1st & 2nd positions continuedly. In the year 2002, he successfully completed Sodan in Summer Camp at Digha West Bengal, India. He also represents India in the 12th Asian Karate Tournament and achieved 3rd runner up in the lightweight category in 2004 at Kolkata, India. Sempai Singh selected to represent India at Shinkyokushin World Tournament 2007 in Osaka Japan but due to some reason he did not attend it. In the year 2007, he represented India at the SARC Tournament in Bangalore and achieved 4th place. In the year 2009, he participated in the All Kyokushin World tournament at Budapest Hungry.

Sempai Singh successfully completed the 2nd Dan examination in front of Shihan J.B Sujoto and Shihan Nagashima in 2017 and became the official Instructor of ShinKyokushin Purulia district. He was lucky to train under Shihan Kenji Midori In Indonesia at the International Seminar in Indonesia.
He resigned from Shinkyokushin in 2018.
Today he is running a successful 3 Dojos in his native West Bengal State.
On the 26th of January 2021, Sempai Navin Kumar Singh appointed as official branch chief of West Bengal, India by Saiko Shihan Prasanna Fernando, Kyokushin Budo Karate Shakai International Honbu, United Kingdom.
